These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Nerune iOS app and this website. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms.

Accounts

You need an account (email and password) to use Nerune, since your fragrance profile, collection and journal are tied to it and improve over time. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.

Subscriptions and billing

Nerune offers a free tier and an optional Premium subscription, available as:

• Monthly: $9.99/month, billed monthly, no free trial.
• Annual: $59.99/year, billed annually, with a 7-day free trial.

All subscriptions are billed through Apple's In-App Purchase system and auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the price you agreed to when subscribing. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your iPhone's Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions. If you started a free trial, cancelling before it ends means you won't be charged. We do not process payments directly or store your card details — Apple and RevenueCat handle billing.

What's included

The free tier includes the fragrance database, search, fragrance pages, wishlist, a limited collection, a basic journal, basic recommendations and a limited Layering Lab. Premium adds an unlimited collection, an advanced scent profile, unlimited weather/occasion-based recommendations, an unlimited Layering Lab, and advanced collection analytics. Feature availability may evolve as the app improves.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the app: no attempting to disrupt the service, reverse-engineer it, scrape the fragrance database at scale, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

Content and accuracy

Fragrance data (notes, accords, longevity, projection, pricing) is provided for informational and personalization purposes. We work to keep it accurate but cannot guarantee it is complete or error-free at all times. Recommendations, match scores and AI-assisted suggestions are guidance, not professional advice.

Affiliate and price links

Some fragrance pages may include links to third-party retailers to compare prices. We may earn a commission on purchases made through these links, at no extra cost to you. These links never influence a fragrance's match score or ranking in recommendations.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time from within the app. We may suspend or terminate access for accounts that violate these terms.

Disclaimer and liability

Nerune is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from use of the app, including purchase decisions made based on its recommendations.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll update the “last updated” date above when we do.
